feautured senior photo session

Alaina’s Summer senior photo session started with hair and makeup at the Stay Wild Studio with Erica.

The first location was an all white studio that included lots of amazing air conditioning. We then headed to Greater Grounds Coffee shop because they had a piano and it is definitely Wichita’s prettiest coffee shop. We went to the arboretum at Sedgwick County Park for some english garden inspired photos before ending the day with rooftop photos at the Ambassador Hotel.

Sunrise Studio

Sunrise Studio is an all white studio with amazing light and air conditioning this is very cool. It was 89 degrees on this day so this was an amazing way to start the day. We had 40 minutes here and shot three different looks. Alaina rocked this location and had the perfect outfits.

Greater Grounds Coffee

Alaina plays the piano so incorporating that into her senior photo session was really important. She also loved Greater Grounds Coffee when I showed her the images of this location at her senior photo consultation. It was the perfect spot but they are closed on Sunday - they day we planned our session for. I contacted them and they let us in to shoot! Besides being the cutest coffee shop in Wichita, they are owned by the best people. Definitely go here if you haven’t been already!

Sedgwick County Park

This location at Sedgwick County Park is a hidden gem. I think it looks like an english garden. By the time we got to this location, it was definitely toasty outside! Shout out to Alaina’s mom for fan support! Alaina was absolutely glowing at the three spots that we choose to shoot at.

Ambassador Parking Garage

We ended Alaina’s session on top of the Ambassador Hotel parking garage. This is the perfect way to end a hot Summer senior photo session day - with the wind in your hair on a rooftop. The wind on this day was unusually calm so we were able to shoot in two different spots. Alaina was so amazing to work with the entire day! I was sad when it got too dark to shoot but I absolutely love what we created.

such a fun day!

Alaina’s final images

My biggest fear before senior pictures was that I wasn’t going to look natural in the different poses. Luckily, Sarah made my experience so easy and fun and helped me to look and feel my best while still keeping the natural look.

I loved how supportive and uplifting she was! It made me feel so comfortable and allowed me to have a fun time while taking pictures!

I would my best friend how easy she makes posing feel! I would also say her and her team (makeup and hair artists, assistants, HER) are all just so kind, uplifting, and knowledgeable, which allowed an amazing senior photo experience. I would tell them I highly recommend going to Stay Wild Photography!
