Four spring Wichita senior photo session location ideas

One. Botanica

If you’re looking for Spring flowers, Botanica is definitely the place! Tulip Fest is my favorite spring event at Botanica and this year it starts on 3/27/26 and goes thru 4/26/26.. During April, this location also has this “pink tree” is also blooming. I’m not sure what kind of tree it is but I’ve only seen it bloom in the Spring. I also love the Chinese garden and this unique circular cutout area. So many different photo opportunities here!

Two. Sunrise Studio (a natural light studio)

Spring weather can be unpredictable. Booking an online studio guarantees some great shooting conditions. This studio has a lot of versatility too with different props and backgrounds.

Three. The k-96 fishing lake

If the bradford pear trees are blooming, this is an amazing spot. Head to the Humane Society and keep going down that road and you’ll arrive. One of the prettiest bradford pear tree locations that I’m aware of.

Four. Plant Kingdom

Probably the prettiest greenhouse in the Wichita area. This location has amazing light and I love the variety of places to take photos here. Before you go, give them a call. They do have rules about professional photographers and some months they are too busy to accommodate sessions. Definitely a great place to buy your plants!
