Pros and Cons to Summer Senior Photos
Trying to decide between the Seasons and figure out when to book your senior photos? There are so many choices when it comes to senior photos from ideas, outfits, dates, locations, and photographers. This is why I offer free consultations to all of my seniors. After shooting for 9+ years, here are my thoughts about senior photo sessions between the seasons.
Senior Photo Sessions in June, July or August:
PROS:
Get your senior photos done before the craziness of school starts.
Incorporate all things summer: colorful flowers, watermelons, the beach, sunglasses, and summer dresses.
Flowers, flowers, flowers (including Sunflowers!)
Summer light is amazing!
If you’re looking for rooftop night shots, now is the time to shoot before it gets cold in the Fall.
CONS:
It will be HOT but I bring a fan, you hang out in your car while I get setup and extra setting spray make it doable! My hair and makeup team are amazing so you will look photo ready through your session.
